    About the Project

The SENSE-SEAT project was an R&D project funded by ERDF/PRODERAM 2020, focused on researching and developing innovative technological furniture to stimulate creativity and increase productivity.

The chair integrates multiple sensors and actuators providing visual, auditory, olfactory and tactile stimuli to the user.

The project was subject to a European patent at the European Patent Office (EPO) and an EU product design registration (EUIPO).

It resulted in scientific publications at ACM and was presented at TEI Conference. The results led to commercial licensing in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
