WOWSystems developed and launched the Info Vias app, the official traffic information tool for Madeira Island, for the Regional Roads Authority (DRE).

Available for free on the App Store and Google Play, the app has surpassed 20,000 downloads and maintains a 4.5-star rating.

Info Vias allows Madeira drivers to check in real-time the status of all regional roads under DRE jurisdiction, including roads managed by VIALITORAL and VIAEXPRESSO concessionaires.

Through a georeferenced interactive map, users instantly visualize traffic constraints, road closures, ongoing works, and adverse weather conditions.

The app includes a robust push notification system that alerts drivers about new constraints on their usual routes, filters by incident type and geographic area, and a complete event history for trip planning.

The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional IT Department, publicly highlighted the application as "a tool that allows you to stay informed in real-time about traffic status, congestion, interruptions and other information, facilitating daily commutes and promoting road safety".

Info Vias is another WOWSystems success story in developing mobile solutions that serve the community, demonstrating how technology can directly contribute to citizens' safety and quality of life.
