The eGames Lab consortium has signed a partnership with Spielfabrique so that Portuguese video game production companies are able to join the "European Games Co-Production Market 2023" Program, which allows such companies – whether they are indie studios or not – to receive financial or technical support to develop their gaming projects but also the ability to seek out and partner with other European studios to co-produce their titles, reducing costs and opening up new markets.

Online and on-site training sessions will also be provided, all free of charge for accepted companies.

The Egames Lab project aims to develop the Portuguese ecosystem of creative industries, with a special focus on the video game production sector.
